EasyInventory launched to help cut under-insurance
Research from AXA has recently revealed that Britons under-insure their homes to the monumental tune of £255bn, potentially leading to a great financial burden for those who have to make a claim. Compiling an inventory has the double benefit of reducing the chances of being under-insured and making it easier to track belongings if a home insurance claim is necessary. Software developer Boydevlin Ltd has created EasyInventory, a small software application designed to make compiling an inventory easier. Director Richard Devlin explained that the firm was interested in making a better home inventory system, as the other offerings available were rather cumbersome.
