Central Insurance Services opens Glasgow office
Central Insurance Services Ltd has opened a new office in Glasgow, cementing its position as Scotland’s foremost independent insurance broker. The Aberdeen-based firm has invested some £1.2m in the new office and staff members, and will use the new premises as a platform for its future growth plans. Managing Director Iain Henry stated that there was room for expansion in the Glasgow insurance market due to a decline in independent brokers, many of which have been acquired by larger firms. Central Insurance has adopted a recruitment strategy of hiring staff from leading insurers, with the new office being led by Regional Director Tom Aldridge, former Aon regional sales manager.
