What to do if Another Driver Crashes Your Car

When a friend drives your car, you will be held liable if they get into an accident. Be careful in who you lend your vehicle to, as a wreck could cause your insurance rates to go up. If you don’t give someone permission to borrow your car, you will not be responsible if they crash it. You are also not responsible if a valet driver wrecks your vehicle. In that case, you will need to get the valet company’s information, and let your insurance company sort it out with the other insurance companies.
